Transfer Students

Welcome new College of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) student! The College of HSS houses your major here at Cal State Fullerton and we are excited to have you join us this Fall.

This summer all new transfer students are required to attend one in-person major advising and course registration session hosted by the major advisors in HSS. The dates and times of these sessions will be updated soon and will take place June 9 – June 18.

Students will be able to sign up for their preferred major specific advising and course registration session starting May 9, 2025. Be sure to check your CSUF email for those details!

 

Returning Transfers

Were you previously enrolled at CSUF and you are returning this Fall term? Instead of attending an advising and course registration session you will meet one-on-one with your major advisor. Keep an eye on your CSUF email for outreach from them.
 
Please note that these advising sessions are separate from the University Orientation requirement. All students are required to attend an in person major and advising session on one of the dates listed above, regardless of whether you attend Orientation in person in July or complete the Orientation requirement online.

Reminder:

The major advising and fall registration sessions are for HSS major students only. No guests will be allowed in with the student due to FERPA Privacy Laws and limited seating availability.
