The Division of Politics, Administration and Justice is comprised of five degree programs:
  • Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice
  • Bachelor of Arts. in Political Science 
  • Bachelor of Arts. in Public Administration
  • Master of Arts in Political Science
  • Master in Public Administration

News and Announcements

The Public Administration Programs are happy to welcome City of Orange's City Manager, John Sibley (MPA alumnus) as the 2014 City Manager in Residence as part of our on-going participation in the Cal-ICMA City Manager in Residence Program.  Mr. Sibley will be on campus the week of April 14th, beginning with a kick-off event on the 14th at 5:30pm in LH 401.  All are welcome to attend.

The Pi Sigma Alpha/ Pi Alpha Alpha Induction Ceremony and Banquet for new members will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Portofino Ristorante Italiano in La Habra from 1:00-3:30 p.m.

Pi Sigma Alpha is co-sponsoring the SSRIC Student Research Conference on May 8 at CSU Fullerton,  Pi Sigma Alpha received a Chapter Activity Grant to sponsor the keynote speaker, Mr. Kyle Rush, for the conference.

Alumnus Kyle Rush will be meeting with members of Pi Sigma Alpha on May 8 at 10:00 a.m.  Location:  Titan Student Union Pavilion -AB

We are extremely pleased to announce that the Model United Nations of the Division of PAJ has achieved outstanding distinction at the National MUN Conference in New York held in Manhattan (April 13-18, 2014). They won both team award as well as individual award.

The Team won DISTINGUISHED DELEGATION award. This is like winning the overall silver medal. The Team consisted of all new students who had no previous experience of Model UN. This is like the KENTUCKY basketball team with all freshman players.

Mario Henein won the OUTSTANDING DELEGATE award in his committee – UNESCO (UN Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization). This is the gold medal.

The Division is currently recruiting for three tenure track positions to begin in Fall 2014:

  • Assistant Professor in Criminal Justice (open specialization)
  • Assistant Professor in Political Science (Public Administration - Public Finance & Budgeting)
  • Assistant Professor in Political Science (Public Administration - Urban Management)
