The faculty and staff of American Studies honor your academic achievements, high spirits, and dedication, and we thank your families and friends for supporting your educational journey.  We wish you the best as you move forward into your careers and put your American Studies knowledge into practice. STUDENT SPEAKERS

Natalie Brunjes, BA
Natalie Brunjes started at CSUF in 2016 and is graduating with a double major in both American Studies and Theatre Applied Studies. She plans to take her passions for the arts, culture, and helping people into her future career, wherever on the globe that may lead her.  
 
Ursula Chan, MA
Ursula Chan joined the CSUF Studies M.A. program in American Studies remotely in 2020 at the same time she started her role as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator at an independent school in Santa Barbara. She's now returning to that school as the Director of DEI and high school ethnic studies teacher feeling much more confident and knowledgeable about the work because of the quality of the program and professors at CSUF.
