It is my pleasure to acknowledge the graduates of the Humanities & Social Sciences Online Degree Completion Program. I congratulate each of you on your amazing accomplishment.
 
Cohort 1--You are the very first graduates of this program. Your perseverance, dedication, and sacrifice has brought you to this momentous occasion, and you should be extremely proud of your achievement. Completing your degree during this tumultuous time speaks volumes of who you are and what you are able to accomplish. Continue to make a positive impact wherever you go, and always remember the support you received from family and friends. 
 
As you move forward into the next chapter of your life, may you honor the light within you as you illuminate the path for others to follow.
