WHO DO I CONTACT?
Department faculty members provide academic and career advisement. Please contact either Dr. Hélène Domon or Dr. Fanny Daubigny for advising. French majors and minors are encouraged to contact their faculty adviser every Fall semester.

WHICH FRENCH COURSES SATISFY GE REQUIREMENTS?
FREN 101, 102, 203 or 204 satisfy the GE C.2 requirement. FREN 315, 325 or 375 satisfy the GE C.3 requirement. You may complete a 9-unit
French GE pathway
(for instance: FREN 102, 204 and 315).
HOW DO I DECLARE A FRENCH MINOR OR MAJOR?

to declare a French major, double-major or minor. You may declare at any point of your studies in French, starting with FREN 101
WHICH FRENCH COURSE SHOULD I START TAKING AT CSUF?
Placement depends on your experience and level in French. Students should enroll at that point in the sequence of courses for which their previous study and/or experience prepares them.
1. High-School Graduates (Freshmen)
