INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AWARD FOR RESEARCH & SCHOLARLY PRESENTATIONS

 

Purpose

This supplemental award provides financial support where there is unmet need for international travel to conduct academic research and/or to present at an academic conference. The award amount is a maximum of $1,000.

Applications are due at 4PM (PST) on the listed deadline. 


Eligibility

Any tenured or tenure-track faculty is eligible.

Submit the online application by the listed deadline. Please note: this application also serves as your final report for this award and you do not need to submit an additional report.
 
In addition to including all expenses (e.g., conference fees, lodging, transportation, etc.), applications must identify any other funding sources and the amount of funding they are providing and the remaining unmet need.

Important Information 

All pertinent university and college policies must be followed to receive any funding. In order for an application to be considered, the Travel Request (TR) Form must be approved by your department chair and must be received in the Dean’s office at least 75 (seventy-five) days prior to your departure date. Even if late TR submissions are approved for travel, they will NOT be considered for this award.
