dean's research award for associate professors

 

Purpose

This award is intended to support the research of associate professors who are at the very last stages of meeting promotion criteria. The award amount is $2,000.

Applications are due at 4PM (PST) on the listed deadline. 

Eligibility

Any associate professor who has not received this award is eligible. Preference will be given to those closest to completing their work for promotion.   

Instructions

Submit the online application and upload a CV (max of six pages) by the listed deadline. The CV should reflect a record of scholarship and/or creative activity.

Applications are evaluated by the HSS Faculty Awards committee; all award decisions are final.

This award has been funded by a gift from an anonymous emeritus/a faculty member and the Dean’s discretionary account. I invite faculty members—present, FERP, and emeriti—to contact our office about contributing to this important fund. With these continuing resources and gifts from faculty who recognize the value of providing research support, the number of awards will not only be sustained, but will be increased.
