Who is Cam?
Cam Batiste is a queer, first-generation, Black college graduate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in sociology from California State University, Fullerton. Having attended CSUF twice, he is versed in many campus resources and programs aimed at helping students. While in his master’s program Cam served as a peer mentor, and an academic advisor for sociology majors. His graduate research focused on how Black students’ experiences differed from other racial groups on campus.
