How can Matt support me?
Matt primarily assists students in schedule building and graduation planning; however, they also help students who have questions about university academic policies,who are experiencing academic challenges, or who need additional support but aren't sure where to go to find it.

Who is Matt?
Matt Grossbard is a queer historian of childhood with 5 years of experience working with undergraduate students at all levels within the CSU system. They earned bachelor's and master's degrees in History from San Francisco State University, and they completed their doctorate in 2021 from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom). Their doctoral work looked specifically at working class children's experience of race, imperialism, capitalism, and urban space through toys and play.
