Why Major in Gender and Sexuality Studies at CSUF?
Gender and Sexuality Studies is where intellectual passion meets purpose! Our majors and minors dive into some of the most compelling issues of our time—identity, power, culture, and justice—while building the analytical, communication, and leadership skills that employers and graduate schools prize. Whether you’re interested in psychology, law, business, education, health, social work, or the arts, a GSS degree gives you a distinct and recognized advantage: the ability to think critically, communicate across differences, and apply theory to real-world issues. Our courses are lively, discussion-driven, and deeply relevant to contemporary life—from pop culture and politics to relationships and technology.
