“As a first-gen student, Passage has been like my personal keychain; every mentor, lesson, and connection has been another key opening doors I never even knew were there. Those doors have led me to experiences I wouldn’t have accessed on my own, from gaining clarity, building professional confidence, to forming connections in the field I want to enter.”

- Angel Rincon, Political Science Major

“Passage to the Future has been the most transformative program of my college career. I am a first-generation Latina college student, and this program has helped me overcome imposter syndrome, embrace the value of networking, and pursue professional development with confidence. Since joining Passage, I have had the opportunity to participate in experiences that have shaped both my academic and professional journey, including completing two internships, receiving hands-on training in Apple technology, and being recognized by the United States Congress and the County of Orange. Passage has not only opened doors but has equipped me with the skills, networks, and confidence to walk through them. It has single-handedly been the most impactful catalyst of my undergraduate experience.”

-Brianna Castillo, Sociology Major
