Teaching interests: Introductory courses in women's studies and gender and globlaization, research methods, popular culture, and social justice activism Research interests: My research focuses on activism. In the past I have worked with immigrant women activists and I am currently working with student activists.
Biography: I earned my Ph. D. in Geography in 2003 at UC Berkeley. Following that I spent a year at UT Austin as a Rockefeller Postdoctoral Fellow. I joined the faculty in Women's Studies at CSUF in 2004. In the summer of 2007 I was a Ethel-Jane Westfield Bunting Fellow at the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe, New Mexico
