The diversity of Florence provides matchless opportunities for students. Its roots date back more than 2000 years to the time when the Romans expanded their dominion over the Italian peninsula. Since the Middle Ages and Renaissance, the city has become one of the world's centers for art, music, theatre and literature. Florence also hosts some of the world's most noted education and financial institutions. A small town with a bustling population, Florence is full of historic sites, ancient churches, fantastic museums and numerous fashion galleries. Its centuries worth of architecture and history, nestled along the Arno River, reveal Florence's long and remarkable legacy.

Included Field Trips
Field trips will include a one day trip to Sienna, museum visits, traditional cooking classes, as well as plenty of sightseeing tours of local attractions.
Eligibility
You must be a CSU student in good standing with an accumulated 2.5 GPA or better and have accumulated at least 30 units of credit. All majors are welcome.
You must have a valid U.S. passport for the duration of the program. This process usually takes about 4-6 weeks, so plan early to apply for one.
