Costs
Program Fees

Approximate Fee - $2,795
Program fee includes housing, orientation, class field trips, insurance, and group airport transfer. Fee does not include CSUF tuition, roundtrip airfare, passport fees, or food.
For Summer 2013, Instructional Related Activities (IRA) monies have been awarded to the Costa Rica summer program. This award will allow reimbursement for up to $800 per student for airfare. More information about this will be provided after applications are due and reviewed.
Additional Fees
- CSUF Summer 2013 tuition
- Optional group flight: $495 + $225 (mandatory U.S. government and airline imposed taxes & fees billed separately and subject to change)
- Passport fees
- $125 refundable security deposit (due with final payment)
- Optional medical insurance upgrade: $65
- Optional personal effects coverage: $90
Program fees are based on a minimum student enrollment. If enrollment is below this minimum, CSUF reserves the right to adjust the program fee to accommodate a smaller number of students.
