Summer 2013 in China
China
Enjoy the opportunity to explore China's two largest cities: Shanghai (the financial and economic center of China) and Beijing (the cultural, political and educational center of China). The program offers students the great experiential learning opportunity to meet China's fascinating people and learn its captivating culture. Students will participate in a variety of well-designed field trips to more than a dozen of China's most famous cultural and historical sites, including but not limited to, Beijing's four UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites, Tian'an men Square, Olympic stadiums, National Center for the Performing Arts, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower! Students will also attend exchange activities with Chinese students and scholars at two of the most prestigious universities in China: Fudan University and Beijing Normal University.

Included Field Trips
Field trips include Beijing's Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Tian'an men Square, Olympics Stadium, National Center for the Performing Arts; Shanghai's Yu Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Huangpu River, and many more!
Eligibility
You must be a CSU student in good standing with an accumulated 2.5 GPA or better and have accumulated at least 30 units of credit. All majors are welcome.
You must have a valid U.S. passport as well as a travel visa for the duration of the program. This process usually takes about 4-6 weeks, so plan early to apply for one.
