Passport and Visa Information

You must have a valid passport for the duration of the semester. U.S. passport applications can be obtained at any major post office. See here for more information.

Student Visitor Visas are issued when you arrive in the U.K. and are good for 6 months. You may not work or volunteer with this visa.

Prior Entry Clearance Study Visas (Tier 4) are required if you are planning to work or volunteer, including internships, and must be obtained prior to departure for the U.K. A valid passport is required for this visa application. See here for information about UK Visas.
