This winter, join us for the course "Writing through Paris" and see the “City of Lights” like the hundreds of writers who, like Hemingway, have been inspired by its moveable feast. Arrive in Paris in time to spend New Year's Eve on the Champs-Élysées. Like the writers we will read, you can visit the Luxembourg Gardens, the Louvre, and Musée d'Orsay; climb the steps of Notre Dame, La Grande Mosquée, and Sacré-Cœur; wander through the Latin Quarter and the Marais, explore the bookstalls along the Seine, and relax at any one of the hundreds of cafes that line the boulevards of Paris. Find your inspiration from the allure of this charming and complex city.

Included Field Trips
Field trips include a half day excursion to Versailles, visits to the Institut du Monde Arabe, Musee d’Orsay, the Louvre and several guided walking tours of Paris.
Eligibility and How to Enroll
You must be a CSU student in good standing with an accumulated 2.5 GPA or better and have accumulated at least 30 units of college credit. All majors are welcome!
You must have a valid U.S. passport for the duration of the program. This process usually takes about 4-6 weeks, so plan early to apply for one.
