Telephone Interviewer

Interested in an on-campus job with a flexible schedule?  Build your resume and earn $9.50 per hour. The Social Science Research Center routinely hires motivated, well-spoken individuals to conduct scientific surveys.

Hours:	A minimum of 12 hours per week (TBD); Mostly evenings and weekends
Starting Salary Range:	$9.50 per hour/ Part-Time, Non-benefited/ Temporary
FLSA Status:	Non-Exempt

The Telephone Interviewer’s primary responsibility is to interview persons on the telephone, closely following a computerized script to collect accurate scientific survey data.  Candidates must be engaging and able to hold an interviewee’s attention.  Excellent English communication skills are essential.  Spanish speakers needed too.  Ability to maintain a positive attitude is a plus.  Interviewers are required to attend paid trainings as needed for new scientific studies entering the field.
