SOCIAL ART PROJECT

The socialART project creates "collaborative art for a collective conscience." They are a locally focused effort to employ people's individual strengths and creativity as a way to enhance community involvement and efforts at social change. "Our aim is to inspire ourselves to put our passions and strengths into action and create opportunities to strengthen the sense of community." The group invites sociology students and others in the community to connect with others, foster creativity through activities and experiences with the goal of promoting social change through social art."

New members are welcome. To get involved with the group, email: nomadsocialart@gmail.com or join their Facebook group:  Social Art Project.
