- Dissertation research conducted on unemployed African American aero space workers and their feelings about being displaced workers.
- Currently studying the differences and similarities in African American, African British and African families throughout the world.
- Taught in London, England (London Semester)
- Taught at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth, South Africa
- Enjoys working with students and stimulating their interest in Sociology.
