Research interests: Caring Labor, Gender and Work, Nursing Homes, Organizational Theory, Academic Dishonesty

Brief biography: I have a Ph.D. in sociology (2004) and a Master's in Statistics (2000) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  I also have ten years of experience working as a statistical consultant for organizations including the Department of Veterens Affairs, Bentley College, and the Social and Demographic Research Institute at UMASS.  My current research involves nursing home workers, intersectionality, and care work.   My research has been published in a range of journals including Medical Care, Annals of Family Medicine, Research in Higher Education, and the Journal of Accounting Research.
