Brief
biography: I have a Ph.D. in sociology (2004) and a Master's in Statistics (2000) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I also have ten years of experience working as a statistical consultant for organizations including the Department of Veterans Affairs and Bentley University. I currently provide statistical analysis for management consulting firms. My current academic research involves nursing home workers, intersectionality, and care work. I am also studying employment and health care use among people with chronic conditions, in particular, fibromyalgia. My research has been published in a range of journals including the Sociology of Health and Illness, Medical Care, the Annals of Family Medicine, Research in Higher Education, and the Journal of Accounting Research.
