Personal Faculty Web Pages

H&SS IT provides support for full time faculty work related personal web pages. Each faculty member is allocated space to upload and manage their web site. We fully support Dreamweaver and provide direct access for faculty to upload new and modified web pages. Access is through secure ftp and requires a compatible program. We recommend WinSCP which can be downloaded for free. We have created an accompanying instruction guide found here . Contact Tina Phan (x3439) or email hsswebmaster@fullerton.edu to learn more.

Pages must still comply with ADA 508 standards. For more information on ADA standards visit the campus web site on Section 508 compliancy or contact Mike Blyleven (x3288) or email mblyleven@fullerton.edu for more information.

OU Campus

Putting the power back in the hands of the departments and skipping the middle man is what OU Campus is all about. OmiUpdate purchased by the campus is a web content management system that allows authorized individuals direct access to web pages for editing. Using campus standards and a common set of templates interested departments and centers can create updated and attracted web sites. H&SS IT has created a process by which department can convert their existing web site over to the new OU system. Departments are using OU templates version 1.0 and Centers are on version 2.0. Departments who wish to get started can download a copy of the templates to choose from and our web site design guide. Centers follow a similar but separate process. Contact Mitch Pautz (x7067) for more information. Visit the Campus IT website to learn more about web publishing and web standards
