Part-Time Teaching Opportunities
The Psychology Department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals interested in assignments as part-time lecturers.
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in a field relevant to the curriculum of the Department of Psychology. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. An ability to work effectively with a broad mix of student ages and students from culturally diverse backgrounds is also highly desirable. A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable for teaching upper-division courses (300- or 400-level) and required for 500-level graduate courses.

Salary
Salaries vary depending upon qualifications and experience. Typical starting salaries for part-time faculty range from $4,147 to approximately $4,534 for a three-unit class.
