The Philosophy Faculty
The faculty of the Department of Philosophy are accomplished instructors and researchers. We are proud of our excellent teaching, our innovative courses, and our the personalized attention our students receive. Each member of the department pursues an active publication program in his or her area of expertise and collectively, we have an expertise in almost every subfield in philosophy. We also actively contribute to university governance, pursue cross-disciplinary projects with other departments and programs, and are regarded by our philosophical peers as notably collegial. The philosophy faculty have won numerous awards for teaching and scholarly research.
