CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE SELF
40th Annual Philosophy Symposium
Professor Lee is the organizer of the 40th Annual Symposium. The topic for the symposium is Phenomenology, Embodiment, and Race. For a list of the speakers and more information about the symposium, click here.
The Annual Philosophy Symposium--a tradition that dates back to 1971--brings to campus each year leading philosophers from throughout the country and provides students with an unprecedented opportunity to meet, hear, and respond to principal scholars active in philosophy today. No other event at Fullerton represents the efforts of the Philosophy Department to combine its twin missions of educating students and pursuing scholarly research than the Symposium.
More information about past symposium can be found on the Past Symposia page. For additional information, contact Professor Craig Ihara.
