Dr. Stephen J. Stambough

Teaching interests: American Politics; Campaigns and Elections; Political Behavior; State Politics

Research interests: Campaigns and Elections; Gender Politics

Brief biography: Dr. Stambough received his Ph.D. from UC Riverside in 1997. He has published a book about direct democracy and several articles in leading journals about congressional elections, gubernatorial elections, and gender issues in campaigns. Dr. Stambough also serves as Faculty Director for the CSUF Washington, D.C. Internship Program and as graduate advisor for the graduate program in political science. As an avid sports fan, he is a strong supporter of Titan athletics and of his beloved San Diego Padres and Chargers.
