Dr. Stephen J. Stambough

Teaching interests: American Politics; Campaigns and Elections; Political Behavior; State Politics

Research interests: Campaigns and Elections; Gender Politics

Brief biography: Dr. Stambough serves as Chair of the Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice. He received his Ph.D. from UC Riverside in 1997. He has published a book about direct democracy and is co-editor of a book on California government. He has authored and several articles in leading journals about congressional elections, gubernatorial elections, and gender issues in campaigns. Dr. Stambough is also the founding Faculty Director for the CSUF Washington, D.C. Internship Program.
