Brief biography: Following a 20 year executive career with a private non-profit community corrections agency in Orange County, California, I completed my Ph.D. in Criminology, Law & Society in the School of Social Ecology at the ZUniversity of California, Irvine in 1995.

I have been employed full-time at Cal State Fullerton since 1999. I was granted tenure and promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2005.
