Criminal Justice

Teaching interests: Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure (Search, Seizure, Interrogation, Right to Counsel), Courtroom Evidence.

Research interests: Fourth Amendment, Fifth Amendment, and Sixth Amendment Issues litigated in the United States Supreme Court. The impact of technology advances on criminal defense rights.

Brief biography: I am a Professor at California State University Fullerton at the Division of Politcs, Administration, and Justice. I am a former Deputy District Attorney with the Los Angeles District Attorneys Office. In 1983, earned a B.A. from University of California Los Angeles. In 1987, I earned a J.D. form Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
