Research Areas

Dr. Tucker has a wide range of research interests including: research design, quantitative methodology, environmental regulation, comparative state policy, policy analysis, and theories of the policy process. He is always happy to collaborate with students and colleagues, helping them solve research design and quantitative analysis problems with their research projects.

Scholarly Work


 

Dr. Tucker regularly presents his research and serves as discussant at professional conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for the National Science Foundation, Political Research Quarterly, Review of Policy Research, Politics & Policy, Social Science Quarterly, Publius, International Public Management Journal, SagePress, and W.W. Norton. 
He is Director of the Center for Public Policy and has served on the advisory boards of the Center for Sustainability, and the Environmental Studies (M.S.) program. He has supervised over 35 master's theses and projects since his arrival at CSUF in 2008.
