Internship Resources
The public administration programs offer internship options in both Fall and Spring semesters through POSC 497 (link here). Students must fill out the Student Internship Contract for all internships (link here).
In addition to these, we offer two special internship opportunities.
For graduate students, the Lawson Internship in Public Service offers $1500 to MPA students interning in the public or nonprofit sector. The MPA Program shall present scholarship(s) to an individual(s) meeting the following criteria:
- Enrolled as an MPA student at California State University, Fullerton;
- Enrolled in POSC 497
- Interning in the public or nonprofit sector

For undergraduate or graduate students, the Presidential Scholars Program Internship is for those majoring in Public Administration/Political Science and provides an opportunity to work with in the office of the President. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Be available 8am-5pm and occasional weekends
- Be familiar with the CSUF campus
- Enrolled in POSC 497
