Welcome new College of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) student! The College of HSS houses your major here at Cal State Fullerton and we are excited to have you join us in the Fall.

This summer all new first-time first-year students are required to attend an in-person Orientation and major advising and course registration session. Orientation and advising takes place on the same day so once you pick your orientation date, no further steps are needed. Information on how to sign up for Orientation is located on the Outreach, Recruitment, and Orientation website and details on how to register for your Orientation and advising session will be emailed to your CSUF email in early to mid-May.

HSS majors attend Orientation on specific major days, which are listed below. Please note seats are limited each day and fill on a first-come, first-served basis:
