Since 2001, the Department of Modern Languages and the TESOL Club have co-sponsored PROJECT SHINE service-learning opportunities with the CSUF Center for Internships and Community Engagement for our students and community partners. Students in our language programs have assisted elders and other students in ESL classrooms, community centers, and nursing homes. If you would like to be involved, please attend the PROJECT SHINE Service-Learning Training that will take place at the beginning of each semester. At this training, you will learn more about the program and options for voluntary service with other students in the department.
