Minor in Portuguese

 The Minor in Portuguese consists of 12 units of upper-division coursework. Each course counted toward the minor must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. Prior to undertaking upper-division work, the Portuguese minor must have completed the following lower-division courses or their equivalents:

PORT 105 – Introduction to Portuguese Language and Culture (5 units)
PORT 214 – Intermediate Portuguese Language and Culture (5 units)

PORT 301 – Advanced Portuguese Through the Arts (3 units)
PORT 310 – Portuguese in the Business World (3 units)
PORT 320 – Introduction to Luso-Brazilian Culture and Civilization (3 units)
PORT 325 – Contemporary Brazilian Civilization (3 units)
PORT 366 - Portuguese Phonology and Dialectology (3 units)
PORT 385 – Brazilian Cultural Communication Through Narrative (3 units)
