Editor's Note

How times have changed!  On p. 2 of the CLN 25:1, my Editor's Note lamented the fact that we could no longer afford to publish our journal.  However, we are back better than ever.  This time CLN is on line (through the generous support of Dean Thomas P. Klammer, the Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, California State University, Fullerton).

We hope this will be the beginning of many issues to come.  We plan to publish articles, notes, squibs, and book reviews on a semi-annual basis, if not more often.  This will depend on the quantity and quality of material submitted.  All contributions are most welcome.

To those of you who know the CLN  from past issues, please spread the word.  We look forward to sharing interesting matter with our readers in this and subsequent editions.  Our very best wishes to all of our readers for a successful 2001.
