Eligibility

Any and all CSU matriculated students with an accumulated GPA of 2.5 or better and at least 30+ units of accumulated credit are invited to apply. All majors are welcome. See specific program for application process.

Housing

You will have a choice of housing in all our programs. These are:

  • HOMESTAY (Spain, Costa Rica and spring London Semester only): You will live with a local family, usually with one or two other American students from the program.
  • APARTMENTS or STUDENT DORMITORYS (Paris, Italy, London, Ireland, Hungary, Spain and South Africa): You are housed with other Americans in one apartment with several 2-person bedrooms or a flat. The apartments and flats usually have a kitchen and bathroom that is shared. This option will cost more based on location.

Financial Aid

There are several options for financial aid available to eligible students. Contact the Financial Aid Office in UH-146 or call (657) 278-3125.

For scholarships: see the College of Humanities & Social Sciences Scholarship web site at: http://www.fullerton.edu/financialaid/scholar/hssbody.pdf

CSUF Tuition & Course Registration

You are enrolling in a special program and your registration needs special handling. Registration for the courses you choose for study abroad will be facilitated by the dean’s office rather than through TITANonline. REMEMBER that your tuition is separate from the program fee.

Courses offered vary with each program – see specific program for course selection.

Passports & Visa Requirements

You must have a valid U.S. passport for the duration of the program. U.S. passport applications can be obtained at any major post office. https://www.usps.com/shop/apply-for-a-passport.htm

If you have a passport from a country other than the United States, you will need to contact the consulate of the country of your destination to ask about your specific Visa requirements.

You should register with the U.S. Embassy before embark on your study abroad program: http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/registration/registration_4789.html

*See London program for special visa requirements*

Airfare

Roundtrip airfare is separate from the program fee. If a GROUP flight reservation is available information is included with the program application. You are welcome to find your own (and sometimes) cheaper airfare, if you choose. However, we advise you to coordinate your flight arrival with the GROUP flight arrival. Check the program site for cost of group flight.
