H&SS INTER-CLUB COUNCIL (ICC) MEETINGS

Inter-Club Council website

What is the ICC?  ICC stands for the Inter-club council.  We are a group that acts as a mediator between ASI and the clubs in the HSS College.

What does the ICC do?  The ICC is dedicated to the growth and support of graduate and undergraduate education, research, public service, and professional development.  We are responsible for disbursing funds from ASI to you!  You can apply to the ICC for money to cover the cost of presenting at research conferences, to pay a guest-speaker to talk to your group or club, or to fund some other club activities.  We strive to promote Cal State Fullerton and its students within the national and international academic community.

Who do I talk to if I want to get funds from the ICC?  Most clubs have an ICC representative that attends the ICC weekly meeting and is responsible for petitioning for funds.  If you aren’t part of a specific club, but are looking for funds to attend a conference, you can usually have the ICC representative for your major’s club petition for you.  If you have questions about the process or don’t know where to begin, you can come speak with us in H-114, the ICC office.  Our campus extension is x2826.

What’s going on this year with the ICC?  This year, we want to make HSS a dominant icon in the academic community, to get our students out there doing more conferences, extra-curricular activities, and getting really involved on-campus and off.  We can’t do this without the participation of HSS students, so please get involved!  We also want to be a larger presence at campus events, such as HSS Week, the 50th Anniversary Celebration, and the Titan Week of Welcome.  We’ll be out and about all year, promoting the HSS College and its students!

HSS-ICC Officers:

Diana Pena, Chair.  Diana is in her second graduate student majoring in History.

Sarah Davison, Vice-Chair.  Sarah is a senior in the history program.  This is her last semester before she enters the teaching credential program.

Lindsey Mills, Director of Administration.  Lindsey is as senior double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
