Important Spring 2004 Information

Project (only) Deadlines and Details

Submit Project to ENST Office………………………………Friday May 21st , 2004
Projects are NOT submitted to the Pollak Library, but they are REQUIRED to be hard bound. You must ensure that a hard bound copy of your project is printed for the ENST office and that you have personally made special arrangements to have the Titan bookstore send a copy directly to the ENST office when it is ready. Please refer to the new Project Guidelines Manual, which is now available on the ENST website in PDF format. Most of your questions should be answered there.

What is due for the ENST Office by no later than May 21st:
· Notification of Completion form
· Hard bound copy of project with approved and signed title page (or receipt from Titan bookstore produced as proof that the project has been submitted for binding).
· Be sure to remind any of your advisors to submit grade change forms to our office if you have any SPs or RPs rather than grades for your project or any other coursework.

Thesis (only) Deadlines and Details

Submit Thesis to Graduate Studies Office…………………..Monday May 7th , 2004
Your Thesis must be entirely finished and ready to hand in by May 7th so that the Graduate Studies Thesis Reader can review your thesis. The Thesis Reader will be looking for all of the formatting issues that are set out in the Thesis Manual that is published by the Grad Studies Office. This means that your thesis will need to have been reviewed and signed off by your advisor and committee members in advance of this deadline.

Deposit Thesis in Bookstore and ENST Office…………….Friday May 28th , 2004
Once you have made all of the necessary adjustments to your thesis as required by the GSO Thesis Reader, you will need to submit your thesis to the Titan bookstore for binding. You must ensure that a hard bound copy of your thesis is also printed for the ENST office and that you have personally made special arrangements to have the bookstore send a copy directly to the ENST office when it is ready.

What is due for the ENST Office by no later than May 28th
·Notification of Completion form
· Receipt that proves you have submitted your thesis for binding at the bookstore (since it will not likely be ready yet) and confirmation that a copy will be sent to the ENST office upon completion of binding process.
· Be sure to remind any of your advisors to submit grade change forms to our office if you have any SPs or RPs rather than grades for your thesis or any other coursework.

Graduate Studies Website - http://www.fullerton.edu/graduate/ Have you taken a look at the Grad Studies Website lately? From this Website you can download the forms that you will need to graduate and find useful information pertaining to graduate deadlines and guidelines.

Grad Checks It is recommended that students intending to graduate apply one semester prior to commencement. There is a $90 fee involved. The deadline for completing the Grad Check is just prior to beginning of the semester in which you intend to graduate.

Grad Check Update If you have already submitted a Grad Check, but will not graduate when you intended, you will need to submit a Grad Update form to the Admissions Office before you will be able to register and maintain continuous enrollment. There is a fee required and it is paid to the Cashier’s Office in University Hall, forms are found in the Graduate Studies Office (MH-103) or Admissions and Records (LH-114). No signatures are required, except the student’s, for this paperwork.

GS-700 Since students are required to maintain continuous enrollment in order to stay in the program, they must register in GS 700 either through University Extension or CSUF. Students may only enroll in GS 700 (GSO website) through University Extension for one semester if they are working on a project and for two semesters if they are working on a thesis. Forms to enroll in GS-700 through adjunct enrollment are available from the ENST Associate Coordinator and the Graduate Studies Office (MH-103).
Once you have met the GS-700 enrollment limit through Extended Education your name will be sent to Graduate Studies to update your enrollment in the University. Admissions and Records will change your status and you should be able to enroll any time, but during a registration window such as TITAN 1 or TITAN 2. You must update your grad check to your new graduation date before you enroll. Should you have difficulty registering contact the Associate Coordinator or the ENST Secretary.
