National Park Service's web site providing information about United
States national parks and management of the national parks. The Visit
Your Parks section lists and describes
individual national parks. Maps of individual parks and of the park
system are available for viewing and downloading. Links to the Past
offers extensive information about cultural resources (historic sites
and buildings, historic preservation, museum collections) in the parks,
exhibitions illustrating aspects of United States history, and information
for the visitor to historic monuments in the national parks. NatureNet
tells of natural resources in the national parks. ParkSmart has information
useful for teachers. InfoZone presents information about the National
Park system, management of the national parks, and the U.S. National
Park Service. It:
