- EPA Student Center
The EPA Student Center is presented by the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency for students in middle school and high school. It
is designed to allow for exploration of a wide range of environmental
issues, for learning about the environment, and for learning about helping
to protect the environment for the future. Sections are offered on:
Environmental basics (issues such as air pollution, pesticides, hazardous
wastes, public health); Conservation (soil erosion, water use, etc.);

The EPA's Environmental Education Center presents a collection
of fact sheets, brochures, and web pages to help teachers explain environmental
issues and teach students about the environment. There are: lessons,

water, air, ecosystems, waste and recycling, environmental careers,
and U.S. federal government environmental laws; links to EPA web sites
for kids aged 5 to 12 and for students in grades 7 to 12; information
