ENST Exit Research Option - ENST 597 Project / ENST 598 Thesis

Students may not register for either the ENST 597 Project or the ENST 598 Thesis course without first obtaining an electronic permit from the ENST office. In order to be eligible for a permit to register for the exit research option students must have:

1. Completed at least a minimum of nine graduate units

2. Filed an approved Study Plan (classified standing)

3. Submitted an ENST 597 Project / ENST 598 Thesis Enrollment Form that includes the signature of the primary faculty advisor (and a list of committee members - only for thesis) to the ENST office.

Poster Presentations—Effective beginning Fall 2005 semester, all ENST students who are undertaking the ENST 597 Project exit research option will be required to present a professional poster of their research to members of the Environmental Studies Council and to fellow peers. This new requirement only applies to students undertaking the ENST 597 Project option. For ENST students admitted to the Program prior to Fall 2005 semester, these students are exempt from this requirement. For details see POSTER DESIGN MANUAL FOR ENST 597 PROJECTS.
