Teaching interests: The Bible as Literature, Classical Mythology, Russian Literature, World Literature

Research interests: The life and work of Owen Barfield.  Interdisciplinary studies connecting literature, visual art, and music.

Brief biography: Ph.D. in English 1968, UCLA
Compiled and published the definitive Bibliography of the Published Writings of Owen Barfield, 1917-2007.

Co-founded The Owen Barfield Society, an international scholarly organization, 2007.
Founding member of the Collegium of the Literary Arts and Humanities Section of the School for Spiritual Science in North America, 1999-present.

Member of the Board of Con Gioia Early Music Ensemble, Feb. 2008 - present.
