Paulina Film Lecture
Guest Speaker Filmmaker Caylee So
In the film, Paulina, a 17 year old girl living in the Cambodian gambling community, struggles with her father and the realities of addiction. Filmmaker Caylee So was born in a refugee camp in Thailand on September 17th 1981, just after her parent's escape from the reign of Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. When she was just three years old, her family immigrated to the United States. So is currently seeking her MFA in Film Production at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Paulina has been nominated for Best Short Film at the 2013 LA Asian Pacific Filmfest.
