  • Congratulations to Rahima Schwenkbeck, who was awarded the 2011 CSUF Alumni Association Outstanding Graduate Student Award. This is a impressive achievement, as this award is given to just one CSUF grad student each year. This is also a proud moment for the Department of American Studies, as this is the second year in a row one of our students has received the prize. (American Studies graduate student Paul Saiedi received the award in 2010.) Read more about Rahima and her accomplishments here.
