“The AARC is great because you are able to go there for so many things, whether you want use the computers to find resources around campus, or need to print out notes or homework for your courses. It is great place to socialize with old friends and have the opportunity to meet new ones. It is also a great place to relax between classes and even sleep! The AARC is a universal utility center for me!”
-Kristina Hilliard, Sophomore
“The AARC gives me a place to study, be mentored, and use a computer. It also gives me a sense of family and community.”
-Emily Matchin, Freshmen
“The AARC offers a place for rest, from a long day, a friend to listen to and discuss problems and classes with, while offering resources to groups, clubs and organizations that are there to help strengthen you while building you up. In addition to providing a strong network it helps encourage a great academic standing. If it hadn’t been for me being introduced to the AARC I don’t know if I would still be in college today.”
-Jason Darnell Adams, Junior
“I personally feel the AARC is an essential part of the African American student population on the California State University Fullerton campus. The coalition within to bring unity, host meetings, and have life challenging discussions, that those ethnic students would otherwise not be as be able to have, because of the current limited accessibility to speak out given to us.”
